Seller verification tiers
DZSpotter never uses the bare word verified on its own. Every badge names exactly what it checked, so you can judge for yourself what it actually proves.
A listing created by DZSpotter staff on a seller's behalf, before that seller claims it, never carries any of these badges, no matter what the underlying system account holds. See the marketplace for how those listings are marked.
Email confirmed
The account holder confirmed a working email address. This is basic account status, not a check on who they are.
Phone confirmed
The account holder confirmed a working phone number by SMS code. It shows the account is reachable, not who the person is.
Identity verified
The account holder completed a government ID check through Stripe Identity. This confirms who they are, not the condition or history of any item they sell.
Trusted seller
DZSpotter has granted this account a Trusted Seller badge based on a track record on the platform. It is a platform judgement, not a guarantee.
Business seller
This account is an approved registered business seller on DZSpotter, reviewed by the DZSpotter team before approval.
None of these checks confirm the condition, service history or airworthiness of any item. Always have life-critical gear inspected by a certified rigger before you buy.
