DZSpotter Launch Giveaway
Terms & Conditions

The promoter of this giveaway is Ok Try This Now! Ltd, trading as DZSpotter, registered in England and Wales. Contact: info@dzspotter.com.

• Open to individuals aged 18 or over.
• UK residents only.
• Anyone may enter regardless of licence status.
• To claim and use the prize, the winner must hold a valid skydiving licence (minimum A-licence or international equivalent recognised by the partner dropzone). See Section 7a.
• Employees of DZSpotter, Ok Try This Now! Ltd, and partner dropzones are not eligible to enter.

The giveaway opens on the launch date and closes 21 days later at 23:59 UK time. Entries submitted after closing will not be counted.

Entries are earned through actions on DZSpotter:

• +1 entry: create a DZSpotter account (automatic on sign-up).
• +1 entry: get a DZ, tunnel, or event edit approved by the moderation team.
• +2 entries: list skydiving gear in the DZSpotter marketplace (listing must be approved).
• +1 entry: write a review of a dropzone or wind tunnel (minimum 30 words).
• +1 entry: share the giveaway on Facebook tagging @DZSpotter (proof required).
• +1 entry: tag two skydivers in the comments of the official DZSpotter giveaway post on Facebook (proof required).

Maximum total entries per person: 7.

A single winner will receive five (5) skydiving lift tickets to be used at one UK partner dropzone of the winner's choice from the list of confirmed partners on the DZSpotter giveaway page.

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. The prize may only be claimed by the winner themselves.

The winner must, at their own cost and responsibility:

• Pay any club membership fees required by the chosen dropzone (typically £10–£30 per year depending on the DZ).
• Meet the chosen dropzone's currency and safety requirements.
• Provide valid licence documentation, medical certification where required, and log books as requested by the partner DZ.
• Abide by all rules and safety procedures of the chosen dropzone.

The partner dropzone retains final authority over whether the winner is cleared to jump based on their assessment.

• The prize is non-transferable, may only be used by the winner personally, and cannot be passed to or shared with any other person.
• There is no cash alternative. The prize cannot be exchanged for money, credit, or any other substitute.
• The tickets must be used within 12 months from the date the winner is confirmed.
• DZSpotter is not responsible for weather cancellations, dropzone closures, or operational changes at the partner DZ.
• DZSpotter is not liable for any injury or damage arising from the use of the prize. Skydiving carries inherent risks which the winner accepts by choosing to use the prize.

If the winner does not hold a valid skydiving licence at the time of the draw, they may still claim the prize under the following conditions:

• The winner must notify DZSpotter within 7 days of notification that they intend to obtain a licence.
• The winner has up to 12 months from the date of being confirmed as winner to obtain a valid skydiving licence (minimum A-licence or international equivalent).
• The prize tickets will be held by DZSpotter until the winner provides proof of a valid licence.
• If the winner fails to obtain a valid licence within 12 months, or fails to meet the partner dropzone's requirements, the prize is forfeited and a new winner will be drawn at random.
• The partner dropzone retains sole authority to determine whether the winner meets their requirements before any jump takes place.
• DZSpotter accepts no liability for the costs of obtaining a licence or for any failure to qualify.

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries, weighted by entry count. The draw will take place within 48 hours of the giveaway closing. The winner will be notified by email within 48 hours of the draw.

The winner must respond to confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days of notification. If no response is received within that time, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn at random.

DZSpotter reserves the right to disqualify any entry suspected of fraud, spam, or misuse. This includes but is not limited to: creating multiple accounts, submitting low-quality or fake edits/listings/reviews, using automated tools to generate entries, or otherwise attempting to manipulate the giveaway. Disqualified entries will be voided without notification.

Entrant information will be used solely for the administration of this giveaway and in accordance with DZSpotter's privacy policy (/privacy). By entering, you consent to DZSpotter processing your data for these purposes.

The winner's first name and city may be published publicly once they have confirmed acceptance of the prize. Full name will only be published with explicit consent.

DZSpotter acts as a platform and giveaway promoter only. The jump activity itself is provided by the partner dropzone under their own terms, safety procedures, and insurance. Any dispute regarding the jump experience is between the winner and the partner dropzone.

This giveaway is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

DZSpotter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this giveaway at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary. In such cases, DZSpotter will make reasonable efforts to notify entrants.
